BMW has 48 service workshops in India, in 40 cities across 22 of the 36 states and union territories. 14 of them (29%) are in the six largest metros (Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata).
The most workshops are in Maharashtra (7), Karnataka (5), Tamil Nadu (5). Cities with a showroom but no workshop of their own: Jodhpur, Udaipur. 14 states and union territories have no BMW workshop, so owners there travel to a neighbouring state for service.

BMW cars in India are serviced at authorised dealer workshops. Many dealers run a showroom and a workshop at the same address; others keep the workshop on a separate site, often in an industrial area, and some showrooms have no workshop at all. Before buying, check where the nearest workshop is, not just the nearest showroom.

Workshops cluster in the largest cities and the states around them: Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh have the most. Large parts of the north-east, the Himalayan states and union territories have no BMW workshop, so owners there drive or transport the car to a neighbouring state for service.
Ask the dealer which workshop will service your car and whether it offers pick-up and drop. Body and paint repairs are done at selected workshops only, and the map marks the ones listed with a body and paint shop.
